PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that in a conventional cultivation of pearl, labor for collecting Anodonta woodiana to be a pearl nucleus is required and seashells of Pinctada martensii after cultivation are uselessly dumped as they are as an industrial waste. SOLUTION: Pearl nuclei 6 are produced by a water washing process A for stirring a seashell 1 of Pinctada martensii after taking out a pearl with slaked lime 7 and washing the seashell with water, a polishing process B for polishing the seashell 1 washed with water, a coarsely grinding process C for grinding the polished seashell 1 into coarsely ground pieces 2, a moderately grinding process D for grinding the coarsely ground pieces 2 into moderately ground pieces 3, a finely grinding process E for grinding the moderately ground pieces 3 into finely ground pieces 4, a powdering process F for powdering the finely ground pieces 4 into fine powder and a solidifying process G for adding salt water and fresh water or minus ion water to the fine powder 5 and solidifying and forming the pearl nuclei.
