PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor deposition film excellent in transparency, having high gas barrier properties, having excellent heat sterilization resistance not generating the deterioration of physical properties, delamination or the like even after boiling sterilization or retort sterilization and having high practicality, and to provide a laminate, which is provided with ultraviolet absorbing capacity capable of preventing the deterioration of content by ultraviolet rays or the like, using the vapor deposition film. SOLUTION: The vapor deposition film is constituted by laminating a primer layer 2 excellent in adhesion, a thin film layer 3 comprising an inorganic oxide and a protective layer 4 on at least the single surface of a transparent base material comprising a plastic material, and a seal layer 13 comprising a polyolefinic thermoplastic film having ultraviolet absorbing capacity is laminated on the vapor deposition film 11 through an intermediate layer 12 comprising a plastic film having no heat sealability.
