PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for cutting a soft rod-like food material or the like. SOLUTION: A carrying-in conveyor for carrying in rod-like food, a shutter mechanism for cutting the rod-like food, and a carrying-out conveyor for carrying out cut food move together with conveyance of the rod-like food. A transfer member which transfers the rod-like food from the carrying-in conveyor to the carrying-out conveyor can advance and retreat from a cutting zone with movement of integral cutter operation, whereby the rod-like food can be continuously cut.
