PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording element containing a stabilizer which can be used with various kinds of inks and also an ink jet recording element showing high photostability for a transferred image of coloring matter as well as a printing method using the described elements. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording element comprises a base carrying an image receiving layer which contains a polymer binder containing a polymer mordant and the stabilizer represented by the formula (wherein, R, n, L and M+ are prescribed in the Specification.). |
