PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printing equipment, in which a stencil base paper is attached axially symmetrically to a plate cylinder. SOLUTION: The stencil base paper 10 is wound about the plate cylinder through the rotation of the plate cylinder after the tip of the paper is pinched between a clamp plate 5 and the outer peripheral surface of the plate cylinder. The clamp plate 5 is a slender plate and provided axially on the outer peripheral surface. The clamp plate 5 pivots through the application of rotation to a rotary shaft 6 from outside. A pivoting resisting member 21 consisting of a holding member 22 and an elastic member 23 is fixed to the plate cylinder. The movement of the pivoting clamp plate 5 is temporarily checked by being abutted against the elastic member on the midway of its pivoting, resulting in storing a rotary force. The clamp plate 5 overridden the elastic member falls vigorously to the opposite side, resulting in pinchingly fixing one end part of the base stencil paper between the clamp plate and a plate seat. The clamp plate 5 is closed uniformly regardless of its axial position, resulting in fixing the base stencil paper longitudinally and uniformly to the clamp plate. The oblique formation of an image on the printing paper is prevented from developing.
