PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a pressure chamber, a common ink chamber, or the like into desired shapes and to ensure the rigidity necessary for a channel forming substrate. SOLUTION: A nozzle plate 8 with a nozzle opening 10 formed, a pressure chamber 12 communicating with the nozzle opening 10, a channel forming substrate 70 with an ink supply opening 13 and a common ink chamber 11 formed successively, and a vibration plate 9 to be deformed for pressuring the pressure chamber 12 are provided so that a channel unit 30 is provided by laminating the components. The channel forming substrate 70 comprises a base material plate 72 made of a reinforcing material, and a resin part 71 provided on the surface of the base material plate 12 for sectioning and forming at least a part of the ink channel. The resin part 71 is produced by exposing and developing a photo-curing type resin coated on the base material plate 72 for eliminating the resin in an unnecessary part.
