PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten processes for increased operational efficiency by making it possible to combine the conventional first and second processes of cutting corners of an angle bar 12 into a single process and to provide a shearing machine at reduced cost which is capable of cutting corners on a channel bar for greatly enhancing workability in cutting corners on the channel member. SOLUTION: A receiving edge 5 is provided on the base 4 of a die 2 and has an L-shaped side face, with the apex of the front inner surface 5a of the receiving edge 5 provided in front of and away from an L-shaped apex by a distance equal to or greater than the thickness t of shape steel.
