PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape forming method and a shape forming die apparatus capable of stably producing a fine quality of electronic components provided with a lift preventing function of the scrap. SOLUTION: When a plurality of timing members 29 which press a thin strip stock 23 to a shape forming die block 19 opposing to a lifter pin 26 are provided in the upper die 18 and break away from the shape forming die block 19 of the thin strip stock 23, pressing the shape forming die block 19 of the thin strip stock 23 is released after the striper plate 16 breaks away from the thin strip stock 23.
