PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sterilization device for sand being small, lightweight and convenient to convey and capable of efficient heat sterilization. SOLUTION: The heat sterilization device for sand forces sand cast into its body 2 through a sand introduction opening 11 therein to flow out in an opposite direction to the direction in which it flows into sand guide frames 31, without remaining therein because of the vibration of the body 2. The passage of the sand is repeated by the number of the stack of the sand guide frames 31, so the time during which the sand passes through a heat sterilization path 21 is extended and the sand is fully heat sterilized by hot air blowing up from the lowermost sand guide frame 31 into each of the sand guide frames 31. Thus, even if the length of the cylindrical body 2 is reduced for miniaturization, the long heat sterilization path can be secured, and since each sand guide frame 31 can be removed from the body 2, the lightweight heat sterilization device for sand can be provided that is convenient to convey. |
