PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a culture substrate for stably culturing a cell and to provide a method for producing the culture substrate and a method for culturing using the same. SOLUTION: This cell culture substrate is obtained by exposing a poly(2- hydroxyethyl methacrylate) to radiation and compounding the poly(2- hydroxyethyl methacrylate) with a cell adhesive polymer. The method for producing the cell culture substrate is provided.
