PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase with the boards laid on the shelves and a display rack, which has enough strength to avoid flection without a troublesome welding work for mounting reinforcing mattress to the shelves and the display rack. SOLUTION: In an open showcase, a cold air curtain is formed on the front open side to keep products displayed on the shelves 7 and a display rack 8 cool. A flat board 9 reinforced by such materials as an integrated laminated sheet of a honeycomb material 9 a sandwiched by aluminum sheets 9b or an integrated laminated sheet of a polyethylene resin sheet 9a sandwiched by aluminum sheets 9b is laid on the goods display board.
