PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical mower capable of easily and efficiently carrying out mowing of a slope having a long distance in the vertical directions. SOLUTION: This mower is respectively equipped with a cutting blade 2, a prime mover 3 for driving the cutting blade 2, a chassis 4 for supporting the prime mover 3, freely rotating wheels 5, 5, 6 and 6 for supporting the chassis 4 in a movable state and holding the cutting blade 2 at a prescribed ground height H and flexible operating members 7 and 7 respectively connected to the front 11f and the rear 11r of the moving direction F-R of the chassis 4. The chassis 4 is held in a prescribed posture on the slope S with the flexible operating members 1 and 1 by an operator M and the movement of the chassis 4 in the direction C intersecting the vertical directions V of the slope S is remotely controlled to carry out the mowing while reciprocating and moving the chassis 4.
