PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fill a space between a cover and a head body with a sealing agent and fill a periphery of a junction of the head body and a manifold and the space between the cover and the head body at the same time. SOLUTION: A space 62 between a head body 10 and a cover 60 is filled with a sealing agent 39 through a filling channel 22 in the head body 10 by applying the sealing agent 39 to a corner part 33 formed by the head body 10 and manifold members 13, 14 and reducing the pressure in the space 62 between the head body 10 and the cover 60. As result, the space between the head body 10 and the cover 60 is sealed and a short-circuit of connecting terminals 31, 32 on the outer surface of the head body by ink can be prevented. The periphery of the junction of the head body 10 and the manifold members 13, 14 is also sealed and the penetration of air into ink can be prevented.
