PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful mineral composition obtained from cacao beans and/or cacao husks, and further to provide a method for producing the mineral composition, and a food and drink containing the mineral composition. SOLUTION: This mineral composition contains an extract obtained by blasting the cacao beans and/or the cacao husks, and extracting the blasted product with water or a water-containing solvent, as an active ingredient.
