PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a wrinkle at a metal-foil strip relating to a winding device and method comprising a deflector roll that rolls the metal- foil strip and a tension reel that winds the metal-foil strip to a coil giving a tension to the strip. SOLUTION: At least two wrinkle-preventing rolls are arranged between the tension reel and the deflector roll. One of the two wrinkle-preventing rolls that adjoins to the tension reel is formed into a convex shape, or the roll adjoining to the tension reel is formed into a flat shape and another roll in the upper stream of the flat-shaped roll is formed into a concave shape.
