PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for diluting a drug, for uniformly mixing a very small amount of the drug with a large amount of a liquid within a short time by reduced energy. SOLUTION: A stirring device comprising a rotary body subjected to shaking rotary motion is provided in a diluting and dissolving tank and a drug injection pipe is attached in the vicinity of the rotary shaft of the rotary body and a constant amount of the drug is discharged from a separately provided drug raw liquid tank in matching relation to the rotary cycle of the rotary body subjected to shaking rotary motion by the drug injection pipe through a drug supply pump the discharge amount and discharge interval of which are controlled by a digital signal.
