PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide game machine monitoring equipment capable of accurately finding and preventing the illegal lending of game media using an illegal recording medium. SOLUTION: This game machine monitoring device monitors the game condition of the game machine for playing the game by using the recording medium for the game having information capable of specifying the size of a value for the game usable for the game recorded thereon. It is provided with a reporting means for calculating a difference between the number of lent game media lent to a player and the number of used game media used for the game and performing reporting in the case that the calculated difference exceeds a prescribed reference value and the state continues for prescribed time.
