PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to adjust wear resistance of a part of a casting surface, and also to increase machining efficiency and machining accuracy of a casting after casting. SOLUTION: This casting of a wear resistant compound material and its manufacturing method consists of a step 1-1 by which a model of a shape correspondent to the casting of a compound material is manufactured with a fire extinguisment material, a step 1-2 for depositing a gelled dissimilar material constituted of a poured molten metal material and a plurality of dissimilar materials having a mechanically different property at least on a part of the surface of the model, a step 1-3 for molding the model into a mold, a step 1-4 for melting a metal material for forming the body portion in the mold, a step 1-5 for dismantling the mold and a step 1-6 for finally finish machining a dissimilar surface portion or the like. However, the gelled dissimilar material used to make depositing in the step 1-2 is required to have a sub-step 1-1 by which a plurality of dissimilar material powders are gelled separately by mixing in an optionally composite ratio in accordance with an use and a processing condition of the casting of the compound material.
