摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulator for setting an upper limit of the motion speed during the cooling operation to be higher. SOLUTION: This manipulator comprises a fixed holding member 5, a shape memory alloy plate (SMA plate) 1 subjected to the all-directional shape memory, a connecting and holding member 3, a SMA plate 2, a tip holding member 6, an optical unit 8 for collecting laser beam, and a nozzle 10 which are fixed in this order, and packaged by a tube 9 for passing gas. A multi-functional integrated thin film 4 for heating the SMA plates 1 and 2 is stuck to the SMA plates 1 and 2. An optical fiber 7 for allowing the laser beam to propagate to the optical unit 8 is passed in the holding members 3, 5 and 6. The gas passing through the tube 9 cools the SMA plates 1 and 2, and passes through the optical unit 8 and is emitted from the nozzle 10.
