<p>Decorated ceramic tile is formed by distributing ceramic material (20) to form a base layer of a ceramic support, decorating the base layer with laminar decorating elements (4), and pressing together the decorating material and the base layer to obtain a compact ceramic support. Independent claims are also included for: (A) an apparatus used for forming decorated ceramic tiles, comprising a ceramic material distributing mechanism (i.e., trolley (24)) for forming ceramic support base layer, decorating mechanism (i.e., conveyor belt (32) associated with laminar decorating elements), and a ceramic press (6); and (B) decorated ceramic tiles formed by the above method.</p> |
