PURPOSE:To attain accurate detection by detecting the pattern position based on the rotating state of a sprocket wheel and the counting of the number of pulses in a belt type game machine rotating a pattern used as a premium and discharging game mediums in response to the stopped premium. CONSTITUTION:When a pulse motor is driven to rotate a sprocket wheel 4 provided on a drive shaft 3a in a slot machine, an endless belt 2 drawn with multiple patterns at the prescribed interval in the longitudinal direction and suspended between two flanged belt pulleys 1, 1 starts rotating. When a player pushes a stop button in this state, the pulse motor is stopped, and the endless belt 2 is stopped after the inertial rotation. A control circuit judges the number of rotations of the sprocket wheel 4 based on the detected result of a detection section 9 when a lug 10 provided on the outer periphery side face of the sprocket wheel 4 passes through a detecting means 12, and it judges the pattern position by counting the number of pulses from the pulse motor after the transit of the lug 10. |
