PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to improve an efficiency of CRT by reliably correcting an E/W distortion using an I type core and an E type core. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke comprises a coil separator, a horizontal and vertical deflection coil and correcting part. The coil separator includes a screen part coupled to the screen surface of CRT, a rear cover(12), and a neck part(13) which is extended from the center surface of the rear cover and formed so as to be coupled to the electron gun of CRT. The horizontal and vertical deflection coils are installed to the inside and outside of the coil separator and form a horizontal magnetic field and a vertical magnetic field. The correcting part is installed on the rear cover of the coil separator and includes an I type core and an E type core(100). The E type is arranged to form a close magnetic field circuit with the I type core.
