PURPOSE: An information transmission system using TVs in public accommodations is provided to allow communications among rooms of a motel, a reception desk of the motel and the outside of the motel. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of input devices in the rooms of a motel are connected to at least one central processing computer through a network. Information recognized and processed by the central processing computer is transmitted to a specific channel of TV of each room through the output port of the computer. When a user tunes the specific TV channel assigned to his room, a computer environment only for the user is prepared. The TV set in each room is used as an output device, and keyboards and mouses are used as the input devices. The network and TV are connected by a filter having selective frequency pass characteristic. |
