PURPOSE: A sealing assembly for a gas turbine engine is provided to prevent the leakage of a gas flowing into a turbine rotor from a compressor rotor by installing a sealing assembly, to make easy the production and assembling of the sealing assembly by making possible the installation of a cooling air flow control structure in a small place, and to secure sealing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A sealing assembly(200) for a gas turbine engine is installed in a round space(28) formed between a compressor rotor(22) and a turbine rotor(23). A sealing plate(210) contacts to a flange(25a) of a diffuser(25) installed at the edge of the compressor rotor. A round edge(211) is formed in the combining portion of the compressor rotor and the turbine rotor. A labyrinth type sealing unit(220) is installed on the outer face of a hub(22a) corresponding to the edge to prevent the leakage of a gas through a gap between the compressor rotor and the sealing plate. A sealing shroud(230) is installed on the rear face of the sealing plate to block up radiant heat and to prevent thermal deformation. A ring sealing plate(240) is installed on a nozzle support unit(27a) to prevent the leakage of the compressed air and the combustion air.
