PURPOSE: An apparatus for heating asphalt is provided to prevent the deterioration of heat transfer efficiency of the asphalt due to the carbonization of the asphalt by always heating the asphalt at an appropriate temperature. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for heating asphalt is comprised of a temperature adjuster(100) for an electric heater designed to supply and control electric power; a temperature detecting part(200) installed at a desired position on an asphalt tank(40) so that it can communicate with the temperature adjuster; and a heating device(400) installed at a desired position under the asphalt tank through a power distributor(300). The heating device is designed to adjust the capacity and the number of heaters to achieve an appropriate heating and keeping ability. Also the heating device is communicated with the temperature adjustor through the temperature detecting part to control the temperature.
