PURPOSE: A manufacturing process of a contact material is achieved in one continuous process to reduce manufacturing time and to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing contact material is composed of a step of extracting both-sided body(101). The extracted both-sided body is cooled. Then, the both-sided body is extended lengthwise to make a plurality of furs(103). The both-sided body is introduced to a guiding member, and a base portion is introduced to a conveyor. The both-sided body and the base portion are melted by heating(106). An inserting portion is separated from the both-sided body, and a round portion of the both-sided body is cut(109).
