PURPOSE: A method for constructing a breast wall of masonry block construction type is provided to improve the construction efficiency and the stability by improving an installation work of earth pressure plates. CONSTITUTION: After dividing and cutting soil across a desired height from a top to a bottom of a corresponding position for constructing a breast wall(100), an earth pressure plate(10) is installed at equal distances about an exposed cut surface(1) by using an anchor bolt(20) and a fastening nut(30) inserted under the ground. While the earth pressure plates are installed repeatedly, block supports(40) formed to be smoothly folded and unfolded are rolled and fixed with the earth pressure plates, and a base support(50) is horizontally installed on the bottom spaced from the cut surface of the earth pressure plate in consideration of a back filling space. After performing the back filling by stacking wrapping blocks(60) up to the desired height, a block support(40) is fitted between the blocks.
