The invention concerns a toothbrush (10) comprising a head (14) which is arranged at the end of a handle (12), of the type wherein the head (14) comprises a fixed part (22) and a mobile part (24), elastically articulated about a transverse axis (Y-Y), adapted to pivot in both directions. The invention is characterised in that the fixed part (22) is a U-shaped fork wherein is received a central branch (40) pertaining to the mobile part (24) which is articulated at the apical end of each of the branches (26, 28) of the fork (22) and, when the brush (10) is not in use, the brushing elements (20f) located on the fixed part (22) define an upper brushing plane substantially parallel to and at a lower height than an upper brushing plane which is defined by the brushing elements (20d, 20p) located on the mobile part (24). |
