摘要 PURPOSE: An argon supply control system for tundish and ladle nozzles in continuous casting is provided is capable of automatically injecting an optimum amount of argon gas into the ladle and the tundish nozzle depending on casting speeds and types of steel in the continuous casting process. CONSTITUTION: The argon supply control system for tundish and ladle nozzles in continuous casting comprises gas supply pipes(30) for injecting argon gas into the nozzles, each of the gas supply pipes(30) are arranged at the upper part of a ladle sliding nozzle(11), upper and lower parts of a tundish sliding nozzle(21) and an immersion nozzle(22); sensors(40) installed at each of the gas supply pipes(30), the sensors(40) input signals to a PLC(programmable logic controller) control part(50) by measuring an amount of argon gas flown into each of the nozzles; and automatic valves(41) which are installed at one side of the sensors(40), and a degree of open-and-shut of which is automatically controlled by the PLC(programmable logic controller) control part(50) based on the results compared with data on a supply amount of argon gas which is already set at a PCS(process control system)(60) proportionally to types of steel and casting speeds.
