A convertible shoe (1) that can be used for walking or for skating having an extendable and retractable or removable interchangeable transportation accessory. The convertible shoe (1) has cavities (6, 7, 9, 10) in the sole (2) of the shoe capable of storing and enclosing the retracted accessory (3). The accessory allows the wheels (22) to be held perpendicular to the walking surface (8) of the sole (2) when the accessory (3) is extended, and parallel to the walking surface (8) of the sole (2) when the accessory is retracted. With the accessory (3) extended, the convertible shoe (1) can be used for skating. With the accessory (3) retracted and stored in the sole (2), the convertible shoe (1) can be used for walking. The shoe may be used for in-line skating, roller skating, or ice skating. |
