ZINC ELECTRODE FOR ALKALI ZINC SECONDARY BATTERY

PURPOSE: A zinc electrode for an alkali zinc secondary battery is provided to improve the charge and discharge efficiency of battery by improving a structure of a collector of the zinc electrode for the alkali zinc secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A zinc electrode comprises a collector on which a plurality of semicircle-shaped grooves are formed. An active material comprised of a zinc and a zinc oxide is formed on a surface of the collector and the semicircle-shaped grooves. The collector contacts to the active material in a three-dimension to increase an interface between the collector and the active material. Thus, a binding force between the collector and the active material is increased. Due to the increase of binding force, separating of the active material at the charge and discharge is prevented.
