The invention proposes a method for controlling the validity of an address of a network node, comprising the steps of waiting (S2) for elapsing of a first predetermined period of time (Tb); sending (S3) a check message (CM) to a predetermined network node (TE); deciding (S4) whether an address of the predetermined network node (TE) is still valid based on whether a response sent from the network node (TE) is received or not. By this method, it can easily be determined whether a temporarily allocated address of a certain network node is still valid or not. The invention also proposes a corresponding network control device. |
