PURPOSE: A method for controlling particle sizes of raw coal for metallurgical coke making is provided which controls the particle sizes of the raw coal by setting a crushing standard from relational diagram of the total inert and the maximum fluidity of the raw coal. CONSTITUTION: In a method for controlling particle sizes of raw coal for coke making into which two or more coals are blended, the method for controlling the particle sizes of the raw coal for coke making comprises the steps of measuring a maximum fluidity of the raw coal blended and contents of the total inert; obtaining particle size fractions of 3 mm or less for each of the raw coals using the measured maximum fluidity and the contents of the total inert; and blending the raw coals after preparing each of the raw coals so that the raw coals have the obtained particle size fractions of 3 mm or less. |
