The present invention provides a method for screening a medicine having an action site on a Ca<2+> transport regulatory mechanism (Ca<2+> pump - phospholamban system) of the heart muscle endoplasmic reticulum as a Ca<2+> storage site in the heart muscle cells. In particular, the present invention provides a method for screening a medicine using inhibition of binding between the Ca<2+> pump and phospholamban.
