PURPOSE: A vehicle door having an anti-theft lock is provided to prevent a door lock device from being released by allowing a lock assembly of the door lock device to be maintained in a lock-state even when a tool is inserted into a gap formed in a door glass. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle door comprises a lock assembly(1). An actuator(5) is connected to the lock assembly(1) and is automatically operated by a switch. Outside and inside handles(6,7) are connected to the lock assembly(1) through various rod assemblies so as to allow a user to manually release the lock of the door inside and outside of the door. The lock assembly(1) includes an operating section(2) acting lock and release functions, a lock lever(3) for handling the operating section(2), and a fixing bracket(4) for coupling the operating section(2) to the lock lever(3) so as to fix the operating section(2) and the lock lever(3) to a run channel of the door. A shielding cover(10) is integrally formed with the fixing bracket(4) for covering an upper portion of the lock lever(3). |
