The light brick for a masonry wall has an angled exterior face (18) and a flat inner face (20) connected by sidewalls (12,14) perpendicular to a median axis through the wall (M). The angled face causes a change in angle between the impinging light and that leaving the brick. One of the inner or outer faces can form the angle to the wall. The angled face can form a prism.
