A stack injection molding apparatus has first and second arrays of valve gat e injection nozzles and separate mechanisms for independently actuating the nozzles of each array. A separate reciprocating yoke plate engages the valve pins of each nozzle arra y, and is actuated by either one centrally located actuator or a pair of symmetrically located actuators.
