The wheel guard comprises a rigid panel unit securable to the vehicle, the unit comprising a first box (27) with a base wall and peripheral frame (30). The first box is pivotally connected to a fastener unit mounted on the vehicle, enabling it to be swung between a folded-down position and a folded-up position in which the space beneath the vehicle is accessible. The panel unit also comprises a second box (28) with a transparent panel (34) and peripheral frame (31), the box containing an information carrier (37). The frame for the second box is pivotally connected to the frame for the first box so that it can be swung between a folded position inside the first box and an unfolded position in which the information carrier can be removed. |
