PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange plural developing sleeves close to each other and to accurately position the plural developing sleeves to a photoreceptor, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This developing apparatus is equipped with the 1st developing sleeve 23 for carrying and feeding developer, in order to develop a latent image formed on the photoreceptor 1, a butting roller 29 provided at one end side in the longitudinal direction of the photoreceptor 1 and regulating a gap between the photoreceptor 1 and the sleeve 23, a 2nd developing sleeve 24 carrying and feeding the developer, in order to develop the same latent image formed on the photoreceptor 1, and a butting roller 30 provided at one end side in the longitudinal direction of the photoreceptor and regulating a gap between the photoreceptor 1 and the sleeve 24; and the rollers 29 and 30 are provided, so as not to be mutually superposed in the longitudinal direction. |
