PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to recognize that the reliability of calculated shutter speed and its aperture value is low if they are low. SOLUTION: When an imaging mode is set, an object is imaged with a period of 1/30 second, and the shutter speed and the aperture value are calculated, by using image data obtained by the imaging. A display screen provided behind the camera displays the calculated shutter speed and aperture value. When a change in the lightness of an object image expressed by the image data used for calculation of the shutter speed or the like is large (step 34), the calculated shutter speed and aperture value are displayed in a form of bars. The user seeing the bar indication can recognize that the shutter speed and aperture value cannot be decided, because the reliability is low. |
