<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to a reduction in cost and an improvement in workability in a columnar structure such as a steel tower for power transmission. SOLUTION: Annular recessed parts 12 are formed in the outer periphery surfaces at the end parts of columnar members 10A and 10B joined to each other, and a cylindrical coupling member 14 is attached by pressure to the section wherein the respective columnar members 10A and 10B are in such a state as to butt against each other. Annular projecting parts 16 corresponding to the recessed parts 12 of the columnar members 10A and 10B are formed in the inner periphery surface of the coupling member 14. The projecting parts 16 of the coupling member 14 are fitted into the recessed parts 12 of the columnar members 10A and 10B in such a state that the coupling member 14 is attached to the above butt section by pressure.</p> |
