PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifying air conditioner having high heating and cooling effects. SOLUTION: The dehumidifying air conditioner comprises a humidifying cooler 8 for humidifying and cooling air from an interior, a sensible heat exchanging rotor 4 for performing a sensible heat exchange between the humidified and cooled air from the interior and air to be supplied to the interior, a heater 10 for heating the air from the interior after the sensible heat exchange and a dehumidifying rotor 2 detached by the air heated by the heater 10. Outside air dehumidified by the dehumidifying rotor 2 is supplied to the interior through the sensible heat exchanging rotor 4. As motors for rotating and driving the dehumidifying rotor, a high-speed motor 19 and a low-speed motor 16 can be switched.
