The invention relates to a twist closure (1) which comprises a support element (5). Said support element is provided with an insertable section (6) for insertion into an insertion opening in which the insertable section (6) is fixed by means of a retaining element (37) that is locked or unlocked by turning a turning handle (4). Said turning handle (4) can be locked by a combination lock that is provided with a plurality of dials (10). The aim of the invention is to provide a simple twist closure that is small in size and with which insertion openings of differently designed objects can be locked. To this end, a tensioning member (33) that can be axially displaced by turning the turning handle (4) is used to actuate the retaining element (37).
