A cold-retention temperature adjusting container for microwave ovens, usable as a food container for warming food in a microwave oven, which is designed so that during heating, heating temperature can be changed locally in various regions, including a region to be normally heated, a region not to be heated at all, and a region to be somewhat heated, in one and the same container. It comprises a cold-retention sheet of three-layer construction with an aluminum foil or aluminum thin sheet (2) sandwiched between heat-resistant resin layers (1). The sheet is formed with a plurality of holes (4), whose number and diameter are changed according to the purpose of heating temperature adjustment, the sheet being formed into a bag-like, box-like or bowl-like container. Alternatively, the sheet is used to modify a part of a conventional food container to provide a cold-retention portion, which is adapted for optional removal for use in combination, and the sheet has a photograph or picture printed thereon and is used for the upper surface of the cold-retention portion to make the food inside known at first sight.
