PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic combustion device which prevents, at a junction, leakage of gas containing uncombusted fuel or intermediate products, reduces fuel consumption rate and is excellent in economic efficiency. SOLUTION: The catalytic combustion device comprises a fuel supply channel, an air supply channel for supplying combustion air, a catalytic combustor having a plurality of communicating holes, a combustion chamber having the junction, an air chamber for covering the junction, and an air introducing channel for introducing leakage prevention air to the air chamber. The junction is to connect an upper structure and a lower structure of the combustion chamber and is located upstream of the catalytic combustor. The pressure in the air chamber is rendered higher than the pressure in the combustion chamber at the upstream of the catalytic combustor.
