PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer-carrying member which enables stable obtaining of images of high grade, without the occurrence of deterioration in density and the occurrence of problems, such as sleeve ghosts and fogging over long periods of time, even under different environments. SOLUTION: A conductive resin coated layer of the developer-carrying member 8, having at least a substrate 6 and the conductive resin coating layer 7, contains at least a binder resin and an aluminum compound of the unsubstituted or substituted benzilic acid expressed by the following general formula (1): (In the formula, R1 and R2 may be the same or different and denote the substituents selected from among the group, consisting of respectively straight chain or branched alkyl groups, alkenyl groups, alkoxyl groups, halogen atoms, nitro groups, cyano groups, amino groups, carboxyl groups and hydroxyl groups and m and n denote an integer of 0 to 5). |
