PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CCD transfer electrode drive circuit, connected to a timing generator and number of input terminals, of which can be decreased. SOLUTION: The drive circuit includes a driver circuit section, that has two channels or more from which at least two or more states are switched and are outputted, a channel selection circuit that decodes coded channel selection information to select one or two channels or more included in the driver circuit section and a state decision circuit, that receives decision information of a coded output state, to decide an output state of the channel selected by the channel selection circuit.
