PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter device for an air conditioner to improve dust collecting performance and deodorizing performance by further increasing a suction area of substantial dust collection and deodorization than individually mounting of a deodorizing filter by impregnating the dust collection case of an air cleaning filter with PTFE sheet. SOLUTION: The air cleaning filter 8 comprises a dust collecting case 8c provided at front and rear parts on both sides with lock grooves and at an internal part with ion wires 8b; a hot block 10 contained in the dust collecting case; an earth block (a dust collecting plate) 11 having an auxiliary lock groove; a fixing tool 12 having a parallel lock piece 12a locked in a disengaging manner at the lock groove and the auxiliary lock groove; and a high pressure unit substrate connected to the hot block. A deodorizing filter 9 is formed of a PTFE (titanate powder carrying fluorine resin) sheet and the dust collecting case is impregnated with the PTFE sheet and fixed by the hot block. The hot block is separably joined with the earth block.
