PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect abnormality of control operation of a control device built in a server system. SOLUTION: An operation-informing signal outputting program and a monitoring program are incorporated into a program of a monitoring object. Thus, a signal output part 10, operating according to the operation informing signal outputting program, is formed in an application control part 6 for performing the control operation according to the program of the monitoring object, and a monitoring part 9 of an operation informing signal operating according to the monitoring program is formed, by forming a pair with the signal output part 10. The signal output part 10 outputs the operation informing signal by each preset timing, and the monitoring part 9 of the operation informing signal automatically detects abnormality of the control operation of the application control part 6 of the monitoring object, by monitoring an output state of the operation informing signal. The whole control device 4 is restarted at abnormality caused times.
