Monitor (5) is arranged in the vehicle interior for displaying test images. An input device (1) is provided for the driver to input a response to the respective images displayed. An evaluation unit (2) evaluates the responses and generates the respective subsequent images. A device may detect the position of the driver w.r.t. the monitor, so hat this can be taken into account when generating test images. An Independent claim is included for the use of a monitor in a vehicle interior for performing a driver eye test.
